Frequently Asked Questions

A phone or an action camera is enough for most walks. Drone flights, 360 rigs and LiDAR scanners all work too, and they can be reconstructed together where a site needs both wide coverage and close-range detail.

A point cloud is accurate but sparse, and hard to read for anyone outside the survey team. A Gaussian Splat scene reads as continuous photorealistic surfaces, so a client or a subcontractor sees the site rather than a diagram of it.

Yes. Walk the same route again and the two captures can be aligned and held side by side, so progress and changes are read against the record instead of from memory.

Capture needs no connection at all. For viewing, an offline viewer can be exported to run on a site laptop or a closed network, for locations where uploading is not an option.

Full buildings, campuses and outdoor sites. Reconstruction runs on our infrastructure rather than your machines, so scale is a question of scoping rather than hardware, and large captures are processed in batches.
